# StairMaster

StairMaster is the American stair-climber name. Steps, chains and drives are the machine. It is not a treadmill with a different console.

A step that skips or a chain that jumps is the fault. Write StairMaster and the model. Do not order a running belt.

## Parts that come back

- **Chain or strap.** On a rower or air bike, write the connector at the handle as well as the chain. That is where it frays.
- **Console and board.** Photograph the error code before anyone resets it. The board number is on a sticker, not in the member’s description.
- **Drive motor and incline.** Record motor or actuator numbers from the part you remove. Do not order from the marketing name on the shroud.
