Keep a weekly inspection that fits one site

A weekly pass is a rhythm, not a manual. The same route, the same checks, a note only when something fails.
Weekly does not mean a form with forty lines. It means you look at the things that go wrong quietly: loose feet, frayed cables where hands pull, belts that have walked, pins that do not seat, and emergency stops that are blocked by a bottle.
Walk it on the same weekday if you can. A Monday pass catches the weekend. A Friday pass catches what you would otherwise leave for a stranger.
Record the result, not the intention
Pass, fail, or needs a follow-up. A fail opens a fault or a job. A pass can be one line for the zone if nothing moved. Writing “ok” on every machine every week trains people to tick without looking.
If you miss a week, do not backfill a pass you did not do. The gap is information. A perfect calendar of invented passes is worse than a gap.
The person who walks signs it. A signature from the desk, for a walk they did not do, is how the inspection becomes theatre.
