Treat heat and humidity as maintenance, not as weather

A cardio room that runs hot eats belts, consoles, and patience. The room is part of the asset’s conditions.
Belts glaze, decks dry, and consoles fault more often when the room is hot and wet. That is not bad luck spread across brands. It is the room.
On the seasonal note for the zone, write whether the air is coping. You do not need a laboratory. You need “this room is uncomfortable by 5 p.m.” as a fact next to the machines that live there.
What to watch
Belt dust that appears faster than last month. A smell of hot electronics that is the room, not one treadmill. Consoles that reset when the class is full. Rust at bolts on bikes near a pool corridor.
Do not “fix” a hot room by opening a fire door and forgetting it. If ventilation is the limit, the jobs on those machines will keep returning. Say that in the file so the next repair is not treated as a surprise.
Members will report the heat as a fault on a single treadmill. Read the zone, not only the asset, before you replace a console.
