Reset the rig to a known plan after class
2026. g. 5. febr. · 1 min lasīšanas
A rig left as the last workout set it is a different machine. The closer puts it back and notes what broke.
Classes rearrange j-cups, bars, bands, and boxes. The next user inherits that plan, including the missing pin. The closing routine for a rig is a return to a written layout, not a vague tidy.
Name the layout: “open gym default”. Put it where the closer can see it. The job of the closer is to match the room to that picture and to open a fault for what is damaged or missing. Folding a torn band into a bucket is not a resolution.
Coaches
Coaches can leave a different plan only if the next session expects it, and someone has written that. Otherwise the default wins. An unwritten agreement between two coaches fails when a third person closes.
Count the safety pieces: spotter arms, collars, and the pins that keep uprights honest. A missing collar is a fault on the rig’s file, not a suggestion that members should look harder.
If the same attachment is damaged every week, the class load or the attachment is wrong. That is a note for the programme, kept on the asset so it is not only a complaint in the coach’s chat.

Tell a member the status, not the internal argument
The useful sentence is whether they can use it, and whether you already know. The part number is not for the floor.
Find the model and serial number on gym equipment
The model and serial are on a plate on the frame or inside the console bay. Photograph them. If the plate is gone, say so. Do not invent a number.
A manual you cannot find at the machine is a missing manual
If the only copy is a link in a leaver’s email, write ‘not on file’ and obtain one.
