Put before and after on the job, not in a camera roll

The fault photo shows the complaint. The job photos show what you actually changed.
A technician’s camera roll is not a work order. The useful pair is a before and an after, attached to the job, taken from roughly the same angle.
Before can be the member’s photo if it is clear enough. After should show the replaced part, the refitted guard, or the belt sitting where it should. If the fix is internal, a photo of the new part before it went in, plus a note, is enough.
What this is for
The next person needs to see whether this cable, this deck, this weld has already been touched. It is also how you check that “replaced” means replaced. A sentence without a photo is still valid. A photo without a sentence is harder to trust.
Do not stage a glossy after if the machine is still waiting on a second part. Honesty in the after photo includes the tape that is still on the frame.
Delete nothing from the fault when you add the job photos. The complaint and the repair are a pair.

The useful sentence is whether they can use it, and whether you already know. The part number is not for the floor.
Reset the rig to a known plan after class
A rig left as the last workout set it is a different machine. The closer puts it back and notes what broke.
Find the model and serial number on gym equipment
The model and serial are on a plate on the frame or inside the console bay. Photograph them. If the plate is gone, say so. Do not invent a number.
