Recovery kit still needs a status

Rollers and mats are not ‘just foam’. A split roller and a frayed suspension strap are faults.
The corner with mats, rollers, and straps is where standards go soft because the items are cheap. Cheap is not the same as harmless. A suspension strap with damaged stitching is a fall. A roller split into a hard edge is a cut.
Give the corner a zone and a simple file for the straps and any anchored kit. Loose foam can be counted as a set. You still remove the damaged piece and note that you did, or it returns from the laundry basket.
Anchors
Anything fixed to a wall or a frame gets the same attention as a rig attachment: the anchor, the strap, the wear at the seam. A trainer’s knot is not a recorded inspection.
Cleaning mats is housekeeping. Retiring a mat that has become a trip surface is maintenance. Write the difference down once so the team does not throw away the record with the mat.

Rain and mud arrive on the first machines
The bikes and treadmills nearest the door take the water. Their faults are often the entrance, not the brand.
After a move, assume something loosened
Feet, shrouds, console leads, and anchors shift in a move. Check them the same day, on the same asset.
Belt dust is a maintenance clue
Black dust under a treadmill is not only dirt. It is the belt or the deck telling you they are wearing.
