Domyos

Domyos is Decathlon’s own fitness brand, from France. Benches, racks, bikes and treadmills under this name are in homes and in some light rooms.

Parts usually follow the retailer’s model code, not a commercial service book. Write that code from the product label. Guessing a club-brand belt will not fit.

Parts to write on the job

• Running belt

  Write the length and width from the old belt, not from memory. A belt from another series of the same brand often does not fit.

• Console and board

  Photograph the error code before anyone resets it. The board number is on a sticker, not in the member’s description.

• Upholstery

  Photograph the pad and name the machine. Recovering ‘the blue one’ is how the wrong bench is sent out.

• Cable

  Write which run you replaced, and whether the rest of the cable stayed. A visible fray is not the whole cable.
